Preparing youth for a rewarding life.

Innovating how we educate our next generation of youth.

‘You will do the greatest service to the state, if you will raise, not the roofs of houses, but the soul of the citizens; for it is better for great souls to dwell in small houses than for mean souls to dwell in great houses.’

—- Epictetus

‘The training by which the current and expression of will are brought under control is called education.

Education is not the amount of information that is put into your brain and runs riot there, undigested all your life. We must have life-building, man-making, character-making education.’

—— Swami Vivekananda

We believe we should reimagine our current education to prepare the next generation to meet the challenges of life and help them have a rewarding life. A rewarding life not only ensures they can stand up on their feet but also demonstrate the leadership to contribute to society to raise the quality of life for all.

Evolving the Dimensions of Education

Our current education doesn’t emphasize many foundational skills that are vital to sustained success in life and the workplace. Some areas include:

  1. The importance of mind control through meditation, mindfulness, or an equivalent way of disciplining the mind

  2. Learning how to learn - there are always new things to learn (e.g. Gen AI that has come on the horizon). It is important to know how to learn)

  3. Human relationships and the knowledge of dealing with people

  4. Learning about one own’s strengths to achieve peak performance

  5. Cultivating healthy habits about nutrition and exercise

  6. Leadership matters in life. The principles of leadership have to be learned and assimilated into practice

  7. Creative thinking to solve problems innovatively.

  8. Financial management and the importance of making money work for you (instead of working for money)

  9. Taking risks in a calibrated manner to get greater rewards. Sometimes taking no risk is the biggest risk in not getting the best out of life.

  10. Learning how to determine one’s purpose in life. A life without meaning and mission leads to an existential crisis (or common parlance mid-life crisis)

  11. Corporate matters - working in any organization is an art and science. Almost all of us will work in a corporate setting at some point. It is important to learn how to work in a large organization.
